  • What is menstrual underwear?

    Menstrual underwear looks and feels like regular underwear, but has built-in absorbent layers that collect menstrual fluid and help prevent leakage.

  • How does it work?

    Inside the gusset there are 4 functional layers:

    1. Top layer is soft against the body and wicks moisture away to keep you dry
    2. Absorbent layer – retains liquid
    3. Containment layer – protects against leaks
    4. Antibacterial layer – reduces bacterial growth and provides breathability.

  • How to wash?

    Rinse with cold water.

    Wash at 30 degrees

    Air dry

    Avoid fabric softener and dryers to prevent changing the properties of the fabric.

  • How many of them will be enough?

    How much can our laundry hold?

    Depends on the model and your cycle:

    • Light – up to 8–10 hours

    • Average – 5–7 hours

    • Abundant – 3–4 hours

    The shorts model can last up to 10 hours (depending on the abundance of your cycle).

  • How long does it last?

    With proper care, menstrual underwear lasts 3–5 years.

  • How do you know when to change?

    Change when you feel wet and uncomfortable. This is different for every woman.

  • How many pairs are needed for one cycle?

    Most clients choose:

    • 3–4 pairs → easy to use

    • 5–7 pairs → full cycle

    • 7+ pairs → maximum comfort without daily washing.

  • How to choose the right model?

    Depends on:

    • your cycle (light/medium/heavy)

    • the style you like (briefs/shorts/thongs)

    • use day or night

Fit, Comfort & Feel

  • Can I wear them instead of pads or tampons?

    Yes. Many women use it as a complete replacement for regular hygiene products.

    In the first few days, you can combine it with a tampon or menstrual cup for greater confidence.

  • Is it hygienic? Will it be odorless?

    The multi-layer system keeps moisture inside, and the antibacterial fabric reduces odors and bacterial growth.

    Regular soaking and timely washing help keep the freshness and quality of laundry unchanged even after many washing cycles.

  • Will it feel like a diaper?

    No. It is slightly thicker only in the crotch area, but remains comfortable and invisible under clothes, like regular underwear.

  • How do I change if I'm not at home?

    You can fold your laundry and put it in our zip bag until you can rinse it in water and throw it in the washing machine.

  • Is it safe for sensitive skin?

    Yes. We use soft fabrics that are safe for daily use. The antibacterial layer maintains ventilation and skin comfort. We do not use dyes, fragrances or other harmful substances.

  • What to do if the product arrived damaged or defective?

    If you received a defective or incorrect item, please send a photo within 48 hours and we will resolve the issue as soon as possible.

  • Can I pay upon receipt?

    No. Products are sewn after order confirmation – this helps avoid rework and reduce waste.

  • Is Happyriod an eco-brand?

    Yes. We manufacture in small batches to avoid unnecessary waste. We are also on a mission to reduce plastic waste caused by pads and tampons.

  • Can I return or exchange menstrual underwear?

    According to Ukrainian law, returns or exchanges of products such as menstrual underwear are not accepted after delivery. This is an intimate product that cannot be resold.
